Growing up, I was always very shy and backwards but, my sister was very outgoing, friendly, and spontaneous. When we went places, she was always the one to lead, while I followed. When she walked in the room it was sunshine, with her beautiful blue eyes and big smile glowing. She would make you feel like she knew you all of her life, never a stranger. At family gatherings, she was the life of it. Her thrill for life, made you feel like a rising cloud flowing through the sky.

One morning, at work, I was told my sister was in a car wreck. Immediately, I left work, to find out what was going on.  My heart was pounding through my chest. I was so worried; I was not sure what to do. I called my father, he told me they were fixing to leave, and he would come and pick me up. On the way to the hospital, I could feel something was not right. When we all arrived at the hospital, the preacher led us to a room. Next thing we knew, the doctors and staff, were standing there telling us, my sister was gone. There was a mixture of feelings and emotions in the room. Some cried, some screamed, some down on their knees, and some shocked and speechless. Next, we went into the room where my sister was, to say goodbye.
