Kate Gosselin once a typical woman that only looked for happiness and wanted a family of her own, know a reality star with eight children. She has become a very good role model to all mothers in the world not just to mothers of multiples. She is very child oriented as well as out spoken. Her main focus is her children, which leaves her husband, Jon Gosselin, with very little or no acknowledgement to the viewers eyes. Although, we rarely see the love between her and Jon we assume it is there and will never be broken. Despite the effect of being on one of the top reality shows, Jon and Kate Plus 8, and becoming famous, dealing with the paparazzi and tabloids started putting a major toll on their marriage. Through all the ups and downs of being on television, and having multiple children nothing will stop Kate from putting her kids first. The influence of all the fame and being in the public eye lead Jon Gosselin to making bad decisions. Though Jon claims that he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time it was confirmed that the stories were true. Kate divorces, Jon Gosselin, her husband of ten years and father of her eight children. After Kate’s heart breaking decision she remains to show the world she can be just as strong or stronger than she has ever been for her children and keeping them happy. “Jon and Kate Plus 8” has made their way into many homes across the United States. This television series was the first reality show that actually appeared and was very real while being stimulating to watch. The Gosselin family that consist of one set of twins and sextuplets had a vibe to it that all loved. The sight of all the children and the drama that went on between the family while trying to raise, and keep the children occupied kept viewers coming back for more. To the public eye you can see that the Gosselins’ are a very caring family and that they love their children very much. On the other hand the viewers constantly see disputes between Jon and Kate. This doesn’t mean that she doesn’t love him very much. “I was very hard on him and I would never deny that,” Gosselin told Natalie Morales on Monday’s TLC special Kate: Her Story. “I felt very much like a lot of weight rested on my shoulders” (Kate Gosselin: I Was Wrong to Treat Jon That Way). Kate may not express her love for Jon openly but in her book MULTIPLE BLES8INGS, Kate Gosselin is very descriptive of her love for Jon and emphasizes how much he was needed throughout the years, the book is dedicated to him. To Jon— Thank you for all you do and for all you put up with. Now I know you meant it when you said in your vows that you would be here “through new and challenging experiences.” You’re a wonderful husband, you’re an amazing father, and you learned from the best. Your dad—Poppy—would be so proud. Also to Grandma and Grandpa— The truest examples of God’s unconditional love. Kate makes it very clear that she loves Jon and appreciates all that he does for her and the children. However, on the show viewers continue to see Kate chewing out her husband and so called emasculated him in front of the world. “Am I proud of those moments that were captured? This is a very demanding and stressful job, who could blame her for being stressed out and taking it out on her husband.
