Abbie Hoffman had great ideas, his gift of leadership, impeccable! However he lacked the knowledge and understanding as to what his actions would do to future Americans. He wasn’t alone; a generation with good intentions followed him down the same path to destruction. This nations political correctness and all inclusive tolerances were birthed through the generation of love. This article is neither politically correct nor all inclusive, but then again when did telling the truth, become a bad thing? Every American is faced with the same questions, what can we do? How can we fix the mountain of social problems that has engulfed us? No one has the answers to these complex questions. In the words of President John F. Kennedy “ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country.” Maybe it’s time America’s Politicians take his advice. Socialist demigods are destroying this once great nation. Americans have lost the fight for freedom; even more painful is the fact that they are losing their fight for survival. It is the sorrowful advice of this writer that you hang on tight: it’s going to be a long, rough and painful ride into the dark pages of history. All America needs is a blind fold and a cigarette, assassinated by her own citizens.

             A brutally hideous orgy of raging flames stoked with brimstone, calls to her. Choking on breath of sulfur, she stagers, dropping to her knees, she lowers her torch. Legions of hissing demons slither about the throne of death, with the voice of many winds, they chant her eternal suffering. Shunned by the poor and huddled masses, the once elegant symbol of freedom falls before the ruler of darkness. Engulfed in flames of torment, the never-ending chains of agony seal her doom. The gnashing of teeth  will echo the misery and pain of her suffering with out end. O how she watched over America, as a beacon of hope, her light, illuminated the path to freedom. Sitting upon many waters, Americas lady of grace and splendor guided the lost peasants of the world to their dreams. Cast into outer darkness, she mourns for her nation, and her people. farewell my fair lady… After  writing this article, covering the Statue of Liberties face to hide her shame, just seems like the right thing to do.
