What Meth Can Do To A Marriage

             You may already know how devastating meth can be to the person using and to everyone they know. Meth causes damage to the brain and to the central nervous system.  It can lead to a stroke and even death. Meth is even considered a home wrecker.  You may even already know the profound sadness and how your heart aches for the person you love.  I know this sadness personally because my ex-husband was a meth addict.

             We were just two ordinary people that met at the ballpark one Saturday afternoon during our son’s baseball game. It was the hottest day of the summer and instead of going swimming, my son Justin wanted to go fishing. Chris over heard Justin and I talking about going fishing. So he invited us over to his family’s farm to fish with him and his son Josh. From that day on we and the boy’s hit it off. We dated for about a year and a half then married. We didn’t have much, just jobs that paid the bills, a nice house and 2 kids with one on the way. You see, Chris worked out of town in construction so we didn’t get to see much of each other except weekends and if he got rained out during the week. So, when he was home and said he was tired and slept most of the weekend I didn’t really pay much attention to it.  But then after awhile, not being able to talk or spend time with your husband got old. So, I told him that things have got to change. I’m just not happy with this situation anymore.
