When I opened the door, pitch black! I could see the orange streetlights coming from the other street. I stood at the doorway letting my imagination get the best of me. It seemed like I was seeing everything. “It’s not real I thought to myself.” I looked at my sister and told her to go in first. She hesitated a little bit and ran for the lights. Suddenly my mom yelled out, “How was the movie?” “Don’t ask!”  I yelled back. My sister began telling her about it. I was reliving it all over again. I got the same feeling I had when I was in the theatre. Cold chills followed my back again. I walked slowly to my room, shut the door and got ready for bed. Every layer of clothing came off fast. I was ready for bed, but there was another problem. Turning off the light and getting into bed. I looked at the light and my bed. I ran to my light, turned it off fast, and leaped towards my bed.

I laid there in the solid dark. Every detail of that movie replayed in my head. Every scene went by several times. The more I thought about it, the more I was scared. I ran to the light turned around and felt a cold breeze. “Oh Crap!” I thought. What if I’m being haunted?  I laid down on my bed with every light on. Sleep was my enemy. I fought my eyes to stay open. It was so hard, considering my eyes felt like the weighed 300 pounds.

It was around 4:00 in the morning, and I was STILL awake! For one flash of a second I closed my eyes. Sleep never felt so great. It was interrupted by my phone ringing. My job had asked me to come in. Since I was awake anyways, I got dressed as quickly as I could. I didn’t want a shadowy figure to pass me. Ready as I was, I headed out the door. Jumping down the steps and running to my car. I was scared. About an inch was between the steering wheel and me. I checked my mirror for what had seemed like every second. I pulled into the parking lot of my work and ran to the door.
