Pain And Tears Continue

Besides the mistakes made leading up to reason why I was in the hospital, that tiny life was my baby. That moment I realized what had happen, that physical pain didn’t matter anymore, but the emotional ache did. Even though the doctor tried to fix my tube and thought he was successful, but he couldn’t bring back that life.

After about the third day I was released from the hospital. I had a list of NO NO’s and it left me with nothing to do, but lie in bed all day. The first couple of days that’s all I could do. Three weeks went by and I did numerous thinking about everything. I worked out my emotional stress by myself and I learned a lot too about myself. I knew I couldn’t forget all of it, but I didn’t want to either. Losing the baby was hard to take in, but I knew that it happen for a reason. The whole incident made me a better person, because the person I was before the surgery wasn’t the true me. From then on, I promised myself a new beginning of a new improved life.

Everything started getting back to normal. I even began to go back to school. I even went to work the first day I went back to school—for like five minutes. Unfortunately, I was experienced pain throughout the day, but gradually by the time I got to work, I knew that there was something wrong. I asked my boss if I could leave (which I knew wasn’t a problem) and hopped in my car driving about a hundred to get home. My grandma picked me up and rushed me to the doctor’s office. The ladies that worked up there were extremely nice, put me in a wheelchair, and rushed me back into one of the rooms. It seemed forever, but I still stayed calm and collective even though I didn’t feel well at all. My mom finally got there and so did my doctor. The doctor examined me and made a clear that the tube must have ruptured again.

Within that moment I truly believed God really didn’t like me. I mean WHY he would put me through this hell. I just didn’t understand.

The doctor said I needed to get up and get ready to head to the hospital for surgery. So started to get up (still in some degree of pain) and move toward the door, but within seconds I passed out cold. I woke up with nurses literally all around me. I stood up again-slowly of course, but I passed out again and supposedly bit my mother without knowing. From that moment I thought this was the end. Today is going to be my last day. I was losing a lot of blood inside fast. I finally got to the hospital and everything seemed to be ok. I was alert and in very little pain.

Then before I knew it the time had come to go to the operating room, which I got to see. Once I was there a tall man introduced himself to me and in seconds he out me asleep. I woke up hours later in ICU room (dark and gloomy). I didn’t like the environment at all. I looked over to my right side to find IV’s everywhere on me and there was one bag of fluids and the other blood slowly dripping in to me. I lost so much blood that they had to give me a blood transmission. I felt like death was at my side. I looked extremely pale and very ghostly like, but I really didn’t care about the way I looked a mess.  I was more worried about the pain to stop or just simply go to sleep. I stayed in the hospital for about four days, and when they said I could go…I was ready. In conclusion the littlest mistake you make can easily be the ones that change your life drastically. Thank God I had a wakeup call…yeah it was a little extreme, but I don’t think I would have realized I needed to grow up and be more careful. I needed to be more responsible for my family and myself. I definitely didn’t want to be one of those kids that end up on the side of the road dead.  Going through two surgeries in less than a month was extremely hard, but worth the pain. I learned that I could do better then what I become. Through this experience I have learned that I am a strong person and I realized that making mistakes is ok…as long as you learn from them. Through this dreadful, but grateful experience I grew closer to my family. I even try harder in school. It’s the worst thing to ever happen to me, but the best as well.
