One of the cofounders of AA Bill W spoke of his horror and defeat of drinking experiences in his text Alcohol Anonymous. The title of his biography was ‘Pass It On’ it expressed the message and principle that lies behind the growth of AA. Alcohol the disease has become a major problem in our society. Promoting alcohol by advertising is sociable acceptable, but we the society are in a predicament and we need to address it. Banning alcohol advertising would be a start in helping alcoholics in our society. From the information above health care professionals and researchers have proven alcoholism to be a disease. The definition of alcoholism is a medical condition that includes the following symptoms: Loss of control, physical dependence, and tolerance, cravings that interferes with physical health and mental health.
