When most people hear that someone is an Army wife, they think of the popular show, Army Wives on Lifetime. It is a dramatic and entertaining show, however there is very few commonalities between the average Army wife and those played on TV.

         Most of the time my husband has already left for work before I’ve even rolled out of bed. He usually manages to make  it home in time for dinner, but not always. It isn’t the easiest life and for most it is nearly unbearable. There are few who make it through the rough, long deployments and come out on the other side still married. The bravest people are the soldiers and the strongest are their spouses.
