The U.S. Roman Catholic Bishops oppose the research as "immoral, illegal, and unnecessary." They say life is sacred from the moment of conception. Some 10,000 raging protesters marched in Washington in 1998 proposing this form of research. In fact, they were so vocal; they have been quoted as saying “We only have one God. Nobody should try to play or replace him.” These may seem like vicious words from a firm believer in God, but do they have a point? |
